Assembly Component Operations Cutout -use multiple parts to remove material form another in assembly

Good Morning all,

I use to be able to in assembly mode use multiple components that were already placed in the assembly to remove material from one component in the assembly using edit > Component Operations > Cutout.
In my Wildfire 3 documentation it is grayed out. See attached image.

I have found references that it has been combined with the merge/inheritance function.

Would there be a way to reactivate it so I can use the old method again?

Having to use multiple merge features for each part is a real pain.
I could not find this in the archives and think it has come up in the past year

Any help with getting access to the old cutout command would be appreciated

Thanks
Don Anderson
