Middle click when placing component

I had a user come to me very frustrated because Pro/E was constantly kicking him out of the component placement dialog (dashboard) and leaving his components partially constrained. After a little diagnosis, it seems the problem is he'll go to hold down his middle mouse button (wheel) to spin the model and he instead single-clicks the mouse wheel. This kicks him out of the constraint definition as if he's selected the green checkmark. It appears to be normal functionality in Pro/E since I've repeated the behavior on other PCs. It's taking the unintentional middle click as an accept / complete of the component placement. This is particularly frustrating for him because he has a slight twitch in his hands and this makes the whole process very difficult. Does anyone know if there is a way to tell Pro/E NOT to take a middle click as an accept / complete function (a config option maybe). I can't find anything. I don't think a different mouse would solve the problem either. Only solution I can come up with is to give him a 3D motion controller (i.e. a 3Dconnexion Space Navigator) to allow him to spin without mouse interaction. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Erik Gifford
