I am doing some testing with Pro/E Wildfire in a Pro/INTRALINK environment
and I have run across an issue which other users have discussed on this
forum where detailing a drawing of a generic of a family table causes a
warning message to re-verfiy instances everytime the drawing is saved. One
of the causes stems from the fact that created dimensions by default are
actually stored with the model, not the drawing.
To store created dimensions strictly to the drawing the following config.pro
option must be set:
create_drawing_dims_only yes
With respect to Pro/E Wildfie, does anyone have a good summary of the
trade-offs of applying this setting? Or more to the point, I guess, what
are the downsides of using this setting? It seems to solve some of the
Wildfire / INTRALINK issues but the Pro/E default is set to NO.
Thanks,
MIke
