-i:rpc_input Question

All,

If I have an application that will run graphically and non-graphically
(with -i:rpc_input) and I use the function call ProMessageDialogDisplay,
will the application stop for user input when running non-graphically?
My though was that -i:rpc_input would take care of that and not wait for
user input.

Based on other ProEngineer dialogs, yes it would wait for user input.
If you were controlling the application from a trail file or macro,
the dialog would have to be answered.

If you are controlling the session completely via an asynchronous
application, then you shouldn't have to worry about it, but that
depends on what you're doing. I have seen asynchronous programs
go about their business while a user is working in the session at
the same time. As long as you're not opening/closing windows, you
might be ok.
