static analyses not converged with load on small surface

I am using Pro/M to analyze the deflection of a beam with flexure hinges. But I always got warnings that some elements cannot be converged. In the real case, we have an actuator to push the beam through a cylinder, so it is a line contact between the beam and actuator. I know applying load on a line will cause singularities. So instead of applying load on the line, I created a small surface on the beam. My part is small so with default AutoGEM settings, I only have 200 elements. At the maximum 9th order, there are 1 or 2 elements closed to the small surface for the load not converged (10%). When the number of elements are increased to 1600, there are still couple of elements can not be converged. Besides this, I believe the max stress should be around the hinges, but in my results, the max stress is always at the corner of the small load applied surface. I am thinking even the load on small surface still causes the stress concentration, but the size of this surface is really too big compare to the real situation. Anybody can give me some suggestions or hints to fix this problem?
