Invoking Custom Menu
File

Invoking Custom Menu File
Posted by Lou Argyres on 01:45pm May 17,

Jason,

Unless I'm missing something sourcing to editinit
still leaves the problem of the startup screen. I can't rely on users' never
mucking with preferences after having shot myself in the foot several times with
catalogpath, filelist, newlist and others.

I just found that a
menuloadhook in an init folder file does work, e.g.,

add_hook(menuloadhook, pckg::removeMenuItems)

... rather
*permanently* in fact requiring a backdoor to prefences dialog or removing the
hook.

Cheers, - Lou

Scrunched up

A
search of the archives did not yield anything about this problem.

Also,
I removed all of our custom menus/menu items and the problem still exists.

Got anymore ideas? 🙂

The website for adepters is at href="http://forums.arbortext.com">http://forums.arbortext.com.class=414261711-18052007>You need to know
your user name and password. If you don't remember your user name, I can

you. (I cannot see your current password.)

Bob,
Are you (like PG suggested) trying to get to the forums or are you trying to post to adepters@arbortext.com and not getting through? If it is the latter and things haven't changed too badly since Arbortext was assimilated by the Borg, err PTC, then any change in your email header information will not allow your posts to process. It could even be something you don't see (your email address stays the same, just goes through a different system). I've been through that one a couple of times and it is a real pain to deal with. You can't even unsubscribe.
