FlexLM bug - multiple interfaces

FlexLM bug - multiple interfaces

It seems that if you have a fixed license, multiple interfaces on your
computer (Wired and Wireless), and you switch between them, the FlexLM will
tell you that your software isn't licensed and it won't open. Your license
file is tied to one interface --- that must be "top priority" (active) in
order for your license file to authorize use of the software.

PTC has a work around that requires you to go into the registry and monkey
around forcing one of the interfaces to always be "top priority", rather
than getting Acresso to fix the bug in FlexLM. It should be querying all the
interfaces on the machine, not just the "top priorty" one.

FYI,

I heard about that in Orlando ... bummer it hasn't been addressed.

Apparently if we want this changed, we all need enhancement request.
