I append page numbers and change numbers to a variable from any element that has a change value attribute. This variable is then written to a file. Through ACL, I pass the file to an external program that formats the data and writes a text file with the parsable formatted data. A call to another ACL reads the data in the text file to a variable. Lastly, I call the varable in a usetext. Valid data is not present in the variable until "after" the last formatting pass. I need to do at least one additional formatting pass in order to have the valid data in the variable for the usetext operation. On line help pointed me to the formatcompletehook in ACL, but I am unsure how or where to code this.
