We are using an older version of the product Epic 4.3.1, with hopes to
migrate users next year.
Part of the process our users have is to take tables in Excel and then
paste Excel into the SGML document where the tables are converted to CALS
table markup. This is currently done with the MS Office 2000 suite.
We want to move these users to Office 2007, but when we paste the Excel
2007 file, any cell containing dashes or em-dashes are rendered not
readable. I suppose I can make sure they save the files in Office 2000
format first, but I would like to try and avoid that extra step.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.
