PDF support in Epic 3.0.1

Greetings all,

Just a brief question about support for PDF files, particularly
hyperlinks (on cross-refs and TOC entries) and bookmarks in Epic. I am
told Epic 4.x supports both features, is that true? Was bookmark and
hyperlink support at all possible in Epic 3.0.1?

Is there anything extra that one has to do in order to make either of
these work in PDF files such as environment variables or ACL?

Thanks for your input.

Best regards,
Jason

I believe PDF bookmarks and hyperlinks only work in Epic 4.x. It works
"out-of-the-box" in that you don't need any environment variables or
ACL. However, we had to make extensive revisions to our FOSI to get
everything (bookmarks in particular) to be usable. Also, the documentation
for adding bookmarks is not very good (and incorrect).

Could you give more precise information? Which revisions to the fosi are
necessary? What is incorrect in the documentation?

Thank you in advance,
