Print Fosi Question

Good Afternoon,

I have been working with the Arbortext editor for a while
and only use Screen Fosi's because we use SDL's XPP for our outputs. My
question is "When you are using a Screen Fosi do you have to have
Composer for to display your output"?

What do you mean by output? You can always print the editor view
with/without tags. Any formatting on the screen is what will print. If you
mean a final presentation then you are out of luck. You have to have Print
Composer or PE to get a final document - this is the equivalent of XPP.

BTW, which NGC are you at? I'm located in Rancho Bernardo.

Not required. There is no output for a screen FOSI other than what you see
in the editor window.

Scott,

If you want to use the FOSI for a printed output (PDF or paper) you need a print license. I believe that Architect has a license, but last time I used Architect was when I was training you.

Andy is pretty close to right in that the 'screen' FOSI may not give you everything you want. If you do not have the page sets in your FOSI, then your pages will look pretty rough. Typically the screen FOSIs do not have this and if your still using the one I wrote back when I can tell you it doesn't.
