Topic*

IBM’s long standing commitment to our clients is to deliver the right
content to the right person at the right time and in the right place. To
that end, IBM has embarked on a multi-year development initiative to create
an end-to-end life cycle information management system. The system, known
internally as IDCMS Blue, is intended to integrate and automate IBM
Information Development processes and tools.

A significant element of IDCMS-Blue is information quality management.
Information quality management begins with information architecture and
extends through content authoring, editorial review, defect management,
customer collaboration and feedback, and a variety of information usage
statistics that when combined, form the IBM quality management strategy
based on structured authoring with DITA, Arbortext Editor, Acrolinx IQ, IBM
Task Modeler and the IBM Eclipse Help System.
