SVG file displayed wrong in the PDF generated by A...

Hello,

SVG file displayed wrong in the PDF generated by Arbortext publishing engine 8.0.0

i open the SVG file with the browser and the SVG is correct. but... when i composes the PDF file with the same SVG file, a lot of information that appears in the SVG, <text> that is not displayed in the browser, IS DISPLAYED IN THE PDF GENERATED BY APE !!!!

help!!!!!! 😞

attached a screenshot where you can see on the left side the svg displayed in the PDF and in the right side the SVG opened by Chrome .... 😞

A couple of questions:

What program was the original SVG made in? If you open the original in the program do you see the extra text? Did you modify the text in the original for final output? DId you hide the text or remove it?

Do you use a content management system? Is the path in the dita set to the current version of the image?

My guess is it is how the browser handles the SVG. You should be able to open the SVG in notepad and search for the text string that is showing up. Try deleting it.

i have opened the svg and:

i have done a test! i have DELETED the <desc> tags and information inside it that appears inside the <text> .... the text inside <desc> is the text that is not needed!... the browser do not display it but the PDF generated by APE ! .....

could be the problem! are there any kind of configuration that says the text inside <desc> tags should not be displayed in the PDF !!???

What is the type of file is the original, is it also svg and the output is svg?
