We recently upgraded from Epic Editor 5.1 to Arbortext Editor 5.3. We use Editor with Vasont (a CMS). In order to connect to Vasont from within Editor, we use a VBScript, which worked fine with 5.1. Now with 5.3 (and also with 5.2) we get this message: A30356] IDispatch error #8960 loading script file "\\drive-name\folder-name\vasont_initialize.vbs Failed to create VBScript context named EpicVBS
The server administrator can run VBScripts from Editor, but non-administrators (i.e., me and all of our users) cannot. I can run VBScripts from a DOS prompt, but not from within Editor. Does anyone know how to allow users to run VBScripts through Editor without having to make them administrators of the server?
