Hi Suzanne
PTC Live Global 2013 will feature Creo and Windchill and there will not be Arbortext content in the program. There will be Arbortext content featured at the PTC Service Exchange event and Deb Shapiro, copied, has more information on that event. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Carrie Johnson

I just tried to submit a presentation proposal ("What Every Arbortext Editor Installation Needs"), but there is no option for Arbortext Editor as a primary topic, which is a required field.

Why was your email sent to Adepters if presentations related to Arbortext Editor cannot be submitted?

Thanks you for your prompt reply,

Suzanne Napoleon

Not quite an AUGI revival this year then?? 🙂

Does anyone know what a "PTC Service Exchange event" is?

I will pass along any information I receive from Deb Shapiro.

The call for papers should not have been sent to adepters. It is very rude to send an invitation and then when it is accepted, rescind it. Also, they should call it PTC Creo/Windchill Live Global 2013 since that is what it is.

I emailed Deb Shapiro to ask her what\where\when is a PTC Service Exchange event. I got an "out-of-office" response referring me to someone else for emergency matters, which this is not. I don't know when I will get an answer.

Suzanne,

I totally agree. PTC has claimed that they've diversified, but I believe they are still truly a discrete manufacturing software company. Publishing SGML/XML is just a side-line.

Just my humble opinion,

Bob
