showing process instructions

Hello,

I'm using Epic 4.3.1

If I have the following construction:

the 2 process instructions before the doctype declaration are not
visible in Epic.

If I have the same construction without the subset-declaration [], the
process instructions become visible:

What's the reason for this strange behavior?

Kind regards,
Michiel Vanhoutte

Michiel,

I am not trying to be smug, but I think iti s called normal operation.

Basically Epic does not display anything prior to the first tag in the document. So anything from

Here

[Any local entities]>

To here

<testcase>

will not show up on screen.

If you search for processing instructions, you will not see these. If you do an ACL command like 'eval oid_name(oid_first())" you will see the top level tag. Actually, the PI outstide the declaration subset may appear, but anything prior to or inside the declarataion subset will not show up.
