xref adding topic name instead of referenced tag content

Hi developers,

When I am coding <xrerf> for a different topic title, by default topic name is adding instead of target element content in arbortext editor. How I can replace that with target element content?

Without knowing if you are using Styler, FOSI or XSLT here is a general fix.


You will need to capture the new topic title to a saved string (FOSI
<savetext>) then in the <xref> output, replace the default topic name with
the new topic title saved text variable name.

We are currently using Editor 5.4 M170 and are testing Editor 6.1 M010.
We're seeing problems with vertical alignment in nearly all footers of our
document DTD/FOSIs.

Does anyone know of any setting or option in 6.1 that might be causing
this? Or better yet, a method of fixing it that would be better than
having to tinker with every page layout.

Any help would be much appreciated.
