Customizer question

Customizer question

I know this can be fixed....

When I call up the customizer to edit a button, then save it... it also
saves my color scheme as default for all the other users. I need it to
save it to mine only without overwriting the default one.

What do I add to my local setup?

Holy crap. The customizer? Didn't they fock all that up many revs ago?

1st - yearns for dmenus...

Actually, I think it's still broken. When you save with the customizer it
saves your user.m and user.il files in your home directory but the
user.mcol saves to the default create path, which is also where it reads
from.

I thought you could set these paths?
not is .caddsrc but perhaps elsewhere or is it a cadds thing only?

ya.. when they complained about me changing everyones colors, I asked why
it isnt set to "read only", or let me set mine to my local dir.... I was
just told not to save the colors, which I have no control over when I
edit a button and save it, with my colors turned on already.

I seem to remember an env setting to solve this. I am still looking.

Rick

I believe the .caddsrc line you are looking for is: setenv
CUE_CMP_USER_SR $HOME/

Give it a try or look it up but I don't think it works right. It was
commented out and tagged as broken in my master file.
