Well did you find normal that : During a registration process or during a product upgrade the maintenance is unavailable but we need to pay ? We believe that the period MUST be payed back !!! Regards

And to complete this topics, what did you think about the following fact : Maintenance program is calculate in days, but each days off (maintenance unavailable), is not payed back. Well that is like if you buy a new car and pay the first control before using it ... Well this strange manner of maintenance program for having a guarantee is in all computer products free of charges for the first year. Why did PTC invoices twice the guarantee... Did you read some law about the selleing guarantee ? I think you are wrong about that ...

You have to choice: 1) to be unsure to have the best product and pay little a cheap a maintenance program. 2) to pay on result for a real advantage on the new product and do not make a maintenance program and make additionnal payement of 21 month. In other words it is advantageous if you plan to renew your software only each 3 years. Tips&Trics to pay less maintenance: =================================== Just buy a separate single product with the maintenance and so you have product free bug, bug reports and realease for all your unmaintained products. With more than 10 licences it is very interresting to do so. And find a better solution by your local provider, because the PTC support is very superficial and do not follow a call with an difficult question on the product. They close the call with the reply with a "dummy answer" : that is not yet possible to do that fully, we hope that the other society which gives the code will change that... (In other terms : PTC wait like us, but we pay for PTC mainentance, without results... ) So after more 3 years you can buy a new product for the same price, with more functionalities and better offers than the maintenance gives. (Many thanks to Mrs N. from PTC maintenance for the OFF days, the very bad product evolution, the heavy costs without competitive upgrade, you don't want to hear about clients asks !!!)
