I have sort of run into the same problem. Any "decent" computer will run
Creo Parametric 2. The problem that I ran into was finding a computer that
would run Windchill. They don't sell those at Best Buy.



The requirements for Creo Parametric 2 should have been spelled out in your
software package. I don't know if you are looking before you make the
software purchase, or not. PTC (or the VAR) will have the specs on what you
need to drive Creo. I would go there before I go anywhere else.

As Michael referenced, the first stop /officially/ is to go with a 'certified' system. (Note that it's a complete system, not components.) Having said that, there are plenty of people running on non-certified systems with no problems...
