automatic regen - Creo2
Hello again.
I seem to get a message almost every time I save that says "model XXX is not
regenerated"
As a rule, I would like to save my models fully regenerated. I don't ever
remember seeing this message before moving to Creo2. Is there a setting
that controls automatic regen? Is this message linked to some new
functionality in Creo2?
Its No Big Deal to regen and then save, but I'd like to understand what is
going on. Does anyone know? If necessary, I will make a mapkey to regen
and then save. but I think there is something at play here and I want to
know what.
Thanks a lot! (again)

There's a config setting
mass_property_calculate
If it is set to "automatic", the model looks for a regen and shows a yellow
traffic light.
There's an SPR : 2138055
Change the setting from "auto" to "by_request" is the PTC sanctioned
workaround.
Thanks to Todd!
