is there a way to import a jpeg of a logo and use it as geometry. like a sketch that you can modify. anybody have any tips on this let me know.

Daryl
You'll have to change the jpeg to a vector format file before hand.
In other words use some trace program. It could be messy depending on what the picture looks like and what program you use.
I've used adobe illustrator with the trace command. Than output to a dxf.
I'm sure there are better programs that will do that.
If you don't mind sketching new entities, you could use the jpeg as decal on a surface. Then you can sketch the logo on that surface, using the jpeg as a guide.
