Does anyone know what the process nmsd.exe is for, and can I turn it off?
I have tried to play with the setting in my .psf; ENV=NMSD_TIMEOUT=300 to reduce the value assuming this was seconds? I thought by changing the value the nmsd process would stop after I close Pro/E. However when I change this value, I start to see some strange behaviour in Pro/E.
I have a workflow which is moving my folder to a server, however I have to wait for the nmsd.exe to stop to be able to move the folder. It seems to be related to the std.out, I'm not sure what this is doing.
