restructure multiple components workaround?

Has anyone come up with a good workaround to the limit that you can only
restructure one component at a time?

I waited for that feature for years. The only thing worse than the one at time functionality was not having it at all. And I tend to use the model tree with this operation, don't like the way things close up so I have to find the model a second time.
