I want a rep of my assy of only the exterior parts, so I create a rep with
default rule of exclude, go to definition rules, select action as master,
select geometric and exterior comps. I hit update and ok. It does what I
expect. I get a rep of just the exterior parts. I erase not displayed to
remove the inactive parts from session. If I regen the assy the inactive
parts are back in session. If I open the assy by rep (w/o anything in
session) the entire model is in session. Why do the inactive parts keep
coming back into session? Is there a confing setting? What good is this
rep if I need the whole model in session?
