AW: Building dll with /MD flag results in linker error

Hi Patrick,

thanks, with the /force:multiple flag the dll is created. I hope my app will be running.

Thanks for your help!

Another question - for my asynchronous applications I have never linked against ptasyncxxx.lib and my apps were still running. Do you have an idea what for these libraries are?

Dieter.

Dieter,
It depends on the type of application you are creating. For synchronous
apps you will use protk*.lib. For simple and full asynchronous
applications you will use pt*.lib. In some cases you will use a
combination. Read the API Wizard under User's Guide->Fundamentals as
well as User's Guide->Asynchronous mode. The API Wizard is the best
source of information on how these modes work.
