Dear fellow coders,
I am designing an application in J-Link and would like to integrate a file-opener within the actual application to open parts or assemblys.
I am using the JFileChooser with some modifications and it works fine overall.
My problem is the filtering of .prt and .asm files. My filter shows only files ending with ".asm" or ".prt". This does not work very well in Pro/E as the sequence number is filtered out as well, so that "xxx.prt.1" becomes invisible but "xxx.prt" will be selectable. The file I actually want to open is, of course, the file with the highest sequence number.
Does anyone know about a solution for this? I would like my file chooser to work like the one in Pro/E.
