Seek J-Link Tutorial Book

I am looking for a J-Link Tutorial Book analogous to those for the Excel
VBA and Inventor VBA Object Models, hopefully, with some additional
explanation on how one can use some 3rd-party IDE to link to J-Link and
develop code for it, since Pro/E doesn't provide an IDE for J-Link.

Actually after the Creo Development configuration done, the IDE(such as VS for VB/TOOKIT C/OTK C++, Eclipse for Jlink) will have the method tips

Hi can you share some sources about those documents? this will help frame your expectations and make sure they are met.

Indeed we do not provide an IDE nor endorse any .

With this said, coming to Java Object Toolkit -the actual name of broader jlink- the IDE of choice, in practice, is Eclipse.

Independently from any IDE, I have created tutorial articles to help beginners get start with their JOTK journey with the following articles:

Additionally here is an article called How to debug a synchronous application from Eclipsehttps://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs65288

Guide to jlink (java object toolkit) is in folder <creo_install_dir>\Common Files\otk_java_doc\otk_javaug.pdf

Jlink must be installed via creo installer (it is not installed by default)

As IDE you can use whatever you want - I use IntelliJ IDEA

You can also you your own JRE insted of shipped one with Creo (see documentation)

There is nothing as Jlink tutorial book, only javaug.pdf and apiwizard (index.html) in the jlink guide dir
