Is it a message from the other side perhaps.....

Ben,

I think when I opened this email, I heard the theme from the Twilight
Zone playing in the background! But seriously, I have never seen this
before; Sorry. I've seen plenty of others, though...

I used to get a message box that told me "Well Done" occasionally out of pro/e (probably around rev 18, 19 or 20). I was always a little more confident on those days!! Thanks PTC for your little ray of sunshine and not always focusing on the bad things.

Other than that, no clue

It reminds me of the "Pro/E Programmers Speak" articles by Peter Nurkse
way back when.

You can still see them here:

The little man inside your machine was in the shower and did not want to be
disturbed, and it appears he did not want you peeking at him so he told you
to close the window also.

Or

Maybe PTC is reducing costs and has made some cuts to it's software.

I think it's a sign to take the rest of the day off.  I mean now it's
Pro|E, what if the errors migrate to humans?  It may only be a matter of
time.

Go home.  Cover your windows in plastic wrap and lie down.

TeamCenter has its own weird errors:

Thats cos it worked for once

I see this as possibly maybe PTC having real programmers now? You know
geeky types that want to do programming and have fund doing what they
do. I'm crossing my fingers and greeping for the answer.

I really don't have a clue what that could be, but it really made my
day.
Just when you think you've seen it all.

Thanks for sharing.

This is truly a strange and mysterious error.
And its strangeness is only exceeded by its mysteriousness...
The only explanation must be that you are in possesion of the
Continuum Transfunctioner... The fate of the universe hangs in
the balance... Now give us the Continuum Transfunctioner!!!
We have ways of finding you...

All hail Zoltan!!!

Frederick Burke

P.S. Does no one see the value in naming an error "strange mysterious".
Now you won't even call tech support. You wouldn't dare ask if they
could duplicate that one... You know for sure that they can't. Think
of the marketing genius behind it... We should follow suit whenever
possible. Most of my job is finding things that are strange and
mysterious
and beat the strange mysteriousness out of it... But now explore the
possibility of going in the other direction... now attach a dollar value
to it...

Bottom line: If things are strange and mysterious enough... No one will
dare question it... Think of the money they will save with people NOT
calling tech support... unadulterated genius!!!

The source of the error was likely the scale of the change you were attempting to make. I have never been so bold as to attempttoreplace one of the fundamental punctuations in the english language, the periodº

What I can tell you now, is that I am currently at TC for Technical Committee meetings, and this posting and message that some are seeing, has gotten the attention of the TCs and PTC, and is currently being (progressively) investigated.

Maybe not what you wanted to hear, but it is being looked into.

IF I get anymore information while I am here I will pass it along.

Sorry, I meant to say aggressively looking into it.

This is actually signal 11, it is being raised right now.
