Below are the answer I got.
As it seems there is no solution to my question other then using
Pro/Toolkit for doing so.

Have you looked at things like Geometry Reps and setting LOD? They can
help without getting to the level you describe.

If you create a new assembly simplified rep the use the search tool you
can look for: solid model, select the status tab, select the display
radio button,
under category: select simplified rep, under state: select for_asm(your
simplified rep name), under comparison: is equal to, under value: master
or whatever
you want. click the find button and it will select all components with
that simplified rep name.
