Kamalakannan, What do you mean by "automation"? In any case, there are two scales you can change, the default sheet scale in the lower left corner of the screen (just select and modify), and the independent scales of different views. To give an individual view a different scale, select Scale in the Drawing View dialog box, deselect Default scale for sheet, select Custom scale, and enter a value. David

Dear David, We can the set the default sheet scale in the lower left corner. As u said,We can control the view cale factor also by using custom scale. What I meant by Automation is,We have to control the individual view scale by parameters. For example,If you change the diameter of the part, then the view scale should reduce the view size as per the diameter.Otherwise the view will go in to big size.

Kamalkannan, OK, got it. Here's one way to do it; it requires a bit of effort setting up relations in the Part (not in the Drawing). Let's say the dimension you want to use to drive the drawing scale is d3. Create a Parameter, say "VS", then create Relations similar to the following. IF d3<5 VS==4 ENDIF IF d3>=5 & d3<10 VS==2 ENDIF etc. Now, after placing your view in the drawing (with a Custom Scale, of course) modify the scale value to be "VS" and it will automatically update. David

Thank you very much David...It's working fine.

Dear David,

I am not aware of Relations. Please help me how to assign the above said relations for my drawing. I want to control my view scale as such "when i change my drawing model with its family table instance" the view scale must be automatically chaned.

we do have standard templetes, can we configure the same in the templete?.

Please help me.
