We have recently upgraded from 2001 to WF3. In 2001 to I could just do a
proMaterialFileRead and the material and the material properties would
change. Now when I read a .mat file, it adds the material to the list of
materials in the part but does not make it the current material.
The new function ProMaterialCurrentSet asks for a material handle. Can I
use the deprecated function ProPartMaterialSet?
Our current material files only care about the material parameters that
matter to us. At this moment I cannot take on the ask of switching
our old material files to the new database format.
Any thoughts?
