j-link help - menu display (More Info)

Thanks to those who have provided suggestions so far. Here is some more
info on our issue. When I go into Auxiliary Applications and stop the
program and then restart it I get the following error:

Exception in UICreateCommand():"
com.ptc.pfc.Implementation.pfcException$XToolkit Found

We get the error on both Windows and Unix, however Windows continues to
run the application fine. In Unix, the auxiliary application start, but
the menu pick under our new menu does not display.

Here is the code that generates that error:

try
{
inputCommand =
session.UICreateCommand("MSC", new GatherInputListener());
}
catch (jxthrowable x)
{
System.out.println("Exception in UICreateCommand():" + x);
return;
}

Has anyone seen that error before? Does anyone know what that error is
referring to?

Thanks,

We have written a j-link progam that works like a champ on a Windows
2000 installation of Pro/E 2001. The program is initiated from a pick
in a new menu that we added to the menu bar.

The problem we are having is that when we run this on a Solaris Unix
workstation, the menu shows up, but when it is clicked, no menu picks
show up. The "Auxilary Applications" indicate that the program is
running. We have recompiled everything with a solaris java install.

Any ideas or tips?

Pro/E 2001 build 2003441
Java 1.3.1.13
Solaris 8
OpenGL
SunBlade 1000
