Windchill STEP AP239 PLCS Adapter

Has anyone tried using the Windchill STEP Connector for PLCS (Product Life Cycle Support), AP239? We installed it, but can't figure out how to configure it per the Windchill Customization Guide 10.2 M020, or how to use it.
