Issue with CED 20.6 Operation: Unable to Modify View in Read-Only Mode

Dear Sirs,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently encountering an issue while using CED 20.6. Specifically, when attempting to insert a section view while editing a drawing, I receive the following error message: "The selected view belongs to a read-only part or assembly," which prevents me from proceeding with further edits or operations on this view.

I have attached a screenshot of the issue (please refer to the attachment) for your reference.

I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps, but the problem persists:

  1. Verified whether the part is set to read-only mode.
  2. Restarted the software and reloaded the drawing.
  3. Tried loading different parts, but the issue remains the same.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Is there a way to adjust the settings to remove the read-only status of the view?

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your guidance on this matter.

Best regards,
Lan
