tutorial 1

I follow tutorial 1 step by step instruction and found out that the workplane along with the construction lines keeps on disappearing from the viewport everytime I run the cursor across the viewport. Does not seem normal ? because of this, I have trouble selecting an intersection point because nothing is visible on my viewport. Appreciate any help to solve this problem. Yman

OK, this graphics configuration is known to produce flaky results in conjunction with CoCreate Modeling and CoCreate Modeling PE. See the following discussions: <ul> <li> http://apps.cocreate.com/OneSpaceModelingPE/Secure/Forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=369 <li> http://apps.cocreate.com/OneSpaceModelingPE/Secure/Forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=362 <li> http://cocreateusers.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6785 <li> http://apps.cocreate.com/OneSpaceModelingPE/Secure/Forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=372 </ul> Hope this helps, Claus

The SDPIXELFORMAT workaround usually settles the problem. I recently acquired a Netbook which has an Intel 945 Media Accelerator, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that CoCreate Modeling PE seems to work OK there. Claus

Hi Claus, I am trying to access the system properties window to set the SDPIXELFORMAT to SOFTWARE but have difficulty locating it. I tried edit/settings menu and did not find what i was looking for there. I need help like a step by step instruction to get to the system properties window. thanks Yman

See http://www.clausbrod.de/CoCreateModeling/OsdmFaqGraphics#BuggyDrivers for a description of how to set the environment variable on Windows XP. If you have Vista, http://support.tabs3.com/main/R10463.htm describes how to modify environment variables there. Claus
