Ok, time to put this one away - had several responses, most involving
using the INSERT command.
However one came through with the simplicity and elegance of a
professional programmer -
"Even a simpler solution than my previous email is just to put the
REPLAC outside of the LOADTL FIL macro to have it done only one time ..
this is the simplest solution of all (I lost my touch on PP .. lack of
practice 🙂 )
so just put at the beginning of the FIL (after the other REPLAC)
T1=TEXT/'G43';T2=TEXT/'G05.1 Q1 R1';REPLAC/T1,T2,PLUS $$ Output G05.1
Q1 R1 on the following line each time a G43 is output "
the other replac was:
T1=TEXT/'( / ';T2=TEXT/'(';REPLAC/T1,T2
at the beginning of the FIL
