Wildfire 4.0, No Preview?

Why does my Wildfire 4.0 M080 have no preview, and why can't I browse my machine with the explorer on the left? (See attached?) This is 64-bit Pro on 64-bit Windows.

Something must have been wrong with my installation. I just installed from scratch WF4 on both a 32 and 64 bit windows platform and do not see the issue now.

I do see this Vista like interface with the preview at the bottom. Who came up with this? (someone who uses their monitor in portrait mode) No preview was better than this short wide bottom preview!
