Help with math in text region

I have been inserting math regions in the text region (to keep alignment) but am finding that the definitions made in each separate text region are not carrying through the entire worksheet.

I have had a look at the properties of the text regions and cannot see anything that may be causing this.

According to the Mathcad help file, the definitions should apply to the entire worksheet.

Post your worksheet. What version of Mathcad are
you using? Seems to work OK on my versions of
Mathcad.
