There seems to be some missing units in the example calculation of the kurtosis coefficient, since the expected value of v can contain units, but the standard deviation function in the denominator strips the units out, so presumably, we need to apply UnitsOf(v) in the denominator:



Note also, that the calculation of the skewness coefficient has units, but shouldn't.

On the other hand, the annoying thing is that Stdev() strips the units, when it really should retain them.

I don't see that. A couple paragraphs above the kurtosis discussion I see:

Stdev(Norm)=0.501 kg

are you running the SR1 patch? I think the unit handling on Kurtosis and some other stats functions got fixed in SR1 - I seem to remember reporting some things like that.

Did you have any backup directories in your Mathcad directory that contained Mathcad files before the SR1 install? I did, and found the SR1 install replaced my backup copies rather than putting the files in the default location. I had to completely wipe everything out of the Mathcad directory and start with a clean Mathcad install followed by SR1 to get everything in the proper place.

Don't think so, but I may have to resort to the same deinstallation/reinstallation.

It's odd, since Mathcad seems to be otherwise operational.
