looks very nice indeed.
1. See a first message about SMath here http://communities.ptc.com/message/142398 (Try Search - SMath too)!
2. I have direct contact with one of creator of SMath (S-Petersburg - the city of the PTC founder) and use SMath by my on-line calculation.
See one example here http://twt.mpei.ac.ru/rbtpp/pKw/ (pKw on-line calculation or download Mathcad 15, Mathcad Prime and SMath files).
Next contact will be 11/18/2010 in Moscow!
3. I'm afraid that Mathcad (PTC) and SMath (???) will have a legal conflict.
What can you say about this?
Cheers for the link.
Some nice features. Particularly like the beam diagram.
Not sure we should be promoting an alternative piece of software though, should we?

Also, one of advantages of the program consists that it can be put on the platform Windows Mobile. Besides, the portable version of the given program is implemented.

Since this based on the mono project.
I tried it on the mac and it didn't work at all. I thought mono project would allow you crossplatform development and looks like that isn't the case
Well, if you want to try a similar program on the MAC, then see my reply in this thread: http://communities.ptc.com/message/154288
I don't see the use os SMath when we have Mathcad.

I think it is a free imitation of Mathcad.
this would gain lot more traction and popularity if it was opensourced.
