I have the same question too. And after two or three times trying to reach the old thread always ending in failure (error, page unreachable, timeout), I would like to ask RichardJ if you could put some hint what could the workaround(s) be?
Thanks a lot in advance

Claudio
Until Richard gets back or someone reposts where the old files went:
The work-around almost certainly involves scripting.
Scripting implies Mathcad 15 or earlier, no version of Prime supports scripting (yet.)
So if you're using Prime you're SOL! Sorry.
Hi Fred,
no I'm old enough 🙂 to still use MathCAD 15. I just forgot to write that.

Claudio
One work-around would be to omit the plot title, and instead display a string variable above the plot.
Obvioulsy this is not ideal since it would display somthing like PlotTitle="Machine One".

Yes, the transition from the old collab to the "new" forum was done so poorly by PTC like they are "developing" Prime. The the old links were not adjusted and in the majority of older post the attachments are missing now.
You would have to state, if you are using Prime or MC15.
I guess its MC, as Prime does not offer plot tiles altogether (that means: problem solved by PTC).
If its MC15, there may be different solutions depending whether you are talking about a 2D or a 3D plot.
I have no idea where Richard pointed 11 years ago, but here is a solution which uses a scripted text box
Thanks a lot Werner,
that's elegant!
I am not so familiar with scripting, so I always try something else. I was just writing using a variable near the plot, like shown here:
Thanks for sharing the solution.

I can't be sure what I pointed to either
It was probably an earlier version of the attached file. It use MS Forms 2.0 labels rather than text boxes (more formatting options), but other than that it's the same idea. Interestingly, the MS Forms 2.0 controls are no longer available, but the ones that are embedded in a Mathcad worksheet still work, and can be copied from one sheet to another.
Thanks a lot Richard for coming back to this old thread.
Best regards
Claudio
