periodic pulse function

Hi all, i'm trying to make a periodic pulse function in MatchCad2000i. i.e i'd like a y(t):=A*sin(t) where A is a periodic square pulse function Can MathCad do this? Many thanks. V.L.

i.e. i'm trying to switch sin(t) off in a pulsed fashion, e.g. between pi/2 and pi

Thanks Richard, If by "sign" you mean + or -, then the function you wrote is just a standard sin. It is what you refered to as "height" that I wanted to modulate with a pulsed function that is periodic(i.e.SQUARE wave). _____ _____ | | | | ____| |____| |____ ... Thanks V.L.
