Collecting and delivering data to ThingWorx from low resource platforms like the Arduino can be a challenge. This session showed a demonstration of creating a simple temperature collection Thing using an Arduino and an Ethernet Shield.The Arduino then used the MQTT protocol as an alternative to REST as a fast and efficient method relaying the collected data to the ThingWorx platform.
