This presentation is intended to introduce PTC Windchill users to the Desktop Integration (DTI) function and the experience of deploying DTI at BlackBerry in PTC Windchill 10.1 for the purpose of managing/collaborating documents throughout our organization (and externally). The presentation will focus on Blackberry's deployment and post deployment activities working with both novice and experienced PTC Windchill users, and ther experience of managing documents in the DTI environment. The information presented is intended to prepare others deploying DTI with FAQs, preferred PTC Windchill environment settings, and tips and tricks discovered during Blackberry's journey. Lastly, with a PTC Windchill 10.2 upgrade on the map for the beginning of 2015 the presenter will share their experience with DTI following the upgrade, and highlight the top enhancements that improved the DTI end-user experience.
