Colors, Materials, Palettes, Lab-dips, Suppliers and Product Techpacks are key elements of the Material - Color development process within an apparel product development organization. The presenters will provide the details of a case study on implementing a Material - Color development process within the PTC Windchill FlexPLM application. The presentation will highlight the additional system value provided by connecting various data and process elements within PTC Windchill FlexPLM. This includes the following processes: Palettes, Color and Material Library, Material Samples, Suppliers, BOMs and Reports. The workflow of activities that support a multi-brand Apparel organization and a Material-Color Development process will also be presented. This will include details on the Material and Color development process, Lab-dip requests, Techpack creation, adding and dropping of styles and managing multiple lab-dip rounds. In addition, the presenters will describe the project goals, benefits and approach and discuss PTC Windchill FlexPLM out-of-the-box capabilities, additional configurations, customizations and configured reports.
