Hi Alexander, The startup directory is the default folder that pro/E start up in. During the installation you can define what that folder will be. By default, Pro/E uses your “My Documents�. I tend to recommend that you choose another folder. Something like C:\proedata. Basically the folder needs to be full read/write access by all users on the machine. To fix this, right click on the startup icon on the desktop and choose Properties. Change the start in field to a desired full access folder. Close the properties dialog and start Pro/E.
