I am trying to create an initial "product configurator". I already have the model with the parameters created and the relations/pro-program set to modify the model as desired by the user. For the interface, I initially used Pro/Notebook (layout), but I didn't like it. It does not offer too many resources to create a good interface, requires special license, and so on. Now, I'm turning my attention to Pro/Weblink. My goal is to create a web page that contains the parameters needed and the user will simply enter the data he wants and then maybe hit a "regenerate" button, and Pro/E will read the values using the Weblink module.
So, I ask for your help... Sample codes, tips, experiences with that, opinions? Anything will help.
But first of all: does Weblink modify model parameters? I took a brief reading on the documentation, but I haven't found anything explicity saying that.
