NVIDIA SLI Summary.

Folks –



Thanks for your answers. The bottom line is that everyone seems to think
SLI is worth looking into, but no one who replied has actually tried it
for themselves. Also, ATI has a similar technology called Crossfire.
There, now I can’t be accused of being an NVIDIA operative.



Another interesting thing I noticed was that most people who replied
actually use PTC authorized components and systems!!! I happen to think
that REAL men and women use unauthorized components and
systems….whatever happened to the rebel in you, and all that talk about
sticking it to the man???

Just to correct something that I posted. I previously referenced the

Nvidia 6800 as having the ability to be soft modded. I am not so sure

at this point if you can do that with the Pci-Express version, but it is

possible with the AGP.
