I posted this in the solutions forums with 1 response. I thought I would give the Admins a try.
We are implementing PDMLink 7.0 this summer. I need to bulk load data from CMS. I would like to ask the group to comment on a few points.
1. Do any of you have experience specifically bulk loading CMS to PDMLink?
2. If so, whom did you use?
3. Can this be done without support from CMS (no longer on maintenance)?
4. Should I "Clean up" the CMS database before bulk loading (systematically purge iterations)?
5. Once legacy data was bulk loaded into PDMLink did you have "special" lifecycles or workflows for this data? (different from new data created in PDMLink)
6. If so, what was the reasoning?
